Resume and Job Search
In these slow economic times it's important to target or customize your résumé for each job posting your are responding to. A great way to do this is to notice the key words that the job posting is looking for and make sure to include them in the version of the résumé you send to them.
A fun way to see what the key words are in the job posting and in your résumé is to use a word cloud. Two sites you might want to check out are wordle and tagxedo. Just cut and past the text into their app and they will create images that emphasize the key words in the text.
